I remember meeting Whitney for the first time when I was 15. She was the ultimate legend. The ultimate woman. "She took the time to make everyone feel like they were very important to her." </P><P> </P><P>Beyoncé continued in the statement that Houston's killer vocal abilities helped make her the superstar she was. David Guetta Teases 'Crazy' New Usher Collaboration
French producer/DJ opens up about working with his 'Without You' partner again.

Well, it looks like David Guetta and <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/usher/artist.jhtml">Usher</a> will have a new one for you to play over and over again soon. </P><P> </P><P>The French hitmaker teased to <a href="http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/earshot/david-guetta-usher-collaborating-new-song-coachella-315394"_blank"><i>The Hollywood Reporter</i></a> that he's worked with the R&B star on new music. "These are really big records that we're working on right now," he said of the twosome's latest work. "I was playing, and then he came to hang out and just to have a good time," he told the <i>Hollywood Reporter.</i> "Then I saw him on the side of the stage and I gave him the sign. He was like, 'Do you want me to do it with you? To come on stage?' and I was like, 'Hell yeah! Of course!' </P><P> </P><P>Guetta and Usher found chart success together back in 2011 with <a href="/news/articles/1674782/usher-david-guetta-without-you.jhtml"> "Without You."</a> And the singer explained that it was just the right time and place for it. </P><P> </P><P> "I think the world wanted a record like that. That [song] really spoke to the journey that I've actually been on in the last three years," Usher said about that song and how it relates to his musical philosophy. "Traveling all around the world, music sounds different. But she's defying her usual topics of interest for human rights organization Amnesty International. The singer is one of the many musicians on the org's <i>Chimes of Freedom</i> compilation of Bob Dylan's music, out January 24. </P><P> </P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Ke$ha Calls Bob Dylan Cover Choice 'An Accident'" id="vid:720838" width="240" height="211"></div><p> </P><P> </P><P>When MTV News spoke with K-Dollar Sign last week about her <a href="/news/articles/1676172/kesha-sleazy-remix.jhtml">all-star remix of "Sleazy,"</a> she also opened up about switching gears vocally and emotionally for her version of Dylan's classic "Don't Think Twice, It's All Right." </P><P> </P><P>"I mean, I think it's pretty well known that he's one of, if not my most, favorite artists of all time and ... one of the most amazing lyricists as well — the original storyteller," she explained. "So I love Bob Dylan and this was just, like, a dream. When they asked me to do a cover, I was just, like, salivating and going through all my records. It was so fun. It was the best homework assignment you could possibly have." </P><P> </P><P>K's version of Dylan's song is a slow-burning, heartbreaking ode to the already heartbreaking classic, where she channels Dylan through lyrics like "Still I wish there was somethin' you would do or say/ To try and make me change my mind and stay/ We never did too much talkin' anyway/ So don't think twice, it's all right." </P><P> </P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="What Is The Biggest Perk Of Being A Headliner?" id="vid:642810" width="240" height="211"></div><p> </P><P> </P><P>Ke$ha had originally intended to record another Dylan track, but when she heard that someone else had their sights set on it, she settled on "Don't Think Twice," prompting a catharsis she could never have imagined. </P><P> </P><P>"This song was kind of an accident. I sat down and this is the first take that I ever sang," she recalled. "I just sat down on my bed for the first time after months of being on tour and I just started crying, and it was kind of like an emotional purging, and you can hear it on the record." </P><P> </P><P>In addition to Ke$ha and her contribution, the album will feature 75 other Dylan classics recorded by nearly 80 artists including Adele, Miley Cyrus, "Glee" star Darren Criss, My Chemical Romance, Evan Rachel Wood and Sugarland. The album pays tribute to the 50th anniversary of Amnesty International.</p>

Kanye was right,' " she explained, laughing. </P><P> </P><P>"That's exactly what this song is about. The record is about how I used to fantasize about women when I was with my boyfriend. It was really exciting that he had so much insight into what the song was about. He's a cool guy." </P><P> </P><P><B>9.</B> Gaga's pop-music kinship with <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/knowles_beyonce/artist.jhtml">Beyoncé</a> has been well-documented in two songs: G's <a href="http://www.mtv.com/videos/lady-gaga/741160/telephone.jhtml#artist=3061469">"Telephone"</a> and B's <a href="http://www.mtv.com/videos/beyonce/455581/video-phone-extended-remix.jhtml#artist=1236911">"Video Phone."</a> When Gaga headed to shoot the Hype Williams-directed <a href="/news/articles/1626441/lady-gaga-paid-tribute-to-beyonce-in-video-phone-clip.jhtml">video for "Video Phone,"</a> she had this message for the team: "I said, 'I want to do you in your video, and I want to tribute you. I want to dress up like you,' " Gaga recalled telling her co-star. "And Hype Williams ... was so excited. He was like, 'Gaga, I want no makeup on your face.' "Sometimes in love, you can't make it work," she said. "No matter what you do, there's this giant boundary between you and someone else. So, that's what it's about: perceiving in your imagination that there's something magical inside of you that you can make it work." </P><P> </P><P><B>4.</B> At the <a href="http://www.mtv.com/ontv/vma/2011">2011 VMAs</a>, she pulled the ultimate costume change by appearing as her male alter-ego, <a href="/news/articles/1669944/lady-gaga-jo-calderone-monsters-fans.jhtml">Jo Calderone</a>. Gaga, as Jo, took home the Moonman for her fist-pumping equality anthem <a href="http://www.mtv.com/videos/lady-gaga/742058/born-this-way.jhtml#artist=3061469">"Born This Way."</a> Afterward, Jo explained, "She was texting me after the award, after I picked it up for her, and she just said, 'You know, more than anything I've ever gotten before, this means more to me, because "Born This Way" is about the fans and the fans are more important to me than anything I do; more important than f---ing breathing, you know?' "This was one of the first times that the fashion didn't propel so much of the story line," she explained. And they mean everything to her. "They're my best friends," she said. They believe in me, and they look at me like a mother and daughter and sister, with pride and love." </P><P> </P><P><B>1.</B> In the end, everything Gaga does is for her art, and there's no place Gaga feels more at home than onstage in front of thousands of screaming fans. "I don't see the live show as extension of the record at all, it's meant to be a completely different experience with the artist, with myself. I want my fans to come and go to a party," <a href="/news/articles/1610781/lady-gaga-on-success-the-turning-point-for-me-was-the-gay-community.jhtml">she told MTV News</a>. </P><P> </P><P>"I want them to watch the show and think, 'I'm so f---ing cool that I am here right now.' It's about them. It's about love. It's about art. Kim Zolciak: Bumpin' Around In Heels
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak was seen arriving at the Wendy Williams show in New York City on Thursday (April 26). The reality television star - who is already mother to daughters Brielle, 15, and 9-year-old Ariana from a previous marriage as well as son Kroy Jr., nearly 1, with husband and Atlanta Falcons football player Kroy Biermann - showed off her baby bump in a tight fitting black dress and towering blue platform heels as she smiled for the paparazzi.

Usher And Diplo Found 'Chemistry' On 'Climax'
In-demand producer/DJ also talks to MTV News about upcoming projects with No Doubt, Snoop Dogg, more.

<P><b>MADISON, Wisconsin</b> — It was just four years ago that <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/diplo/artist.jhtml">Diplo</a> put his production prowess on full display with M.I.A.'s mega-hit <a href="http://www.mtv.com/videos/mia/195024/paper-planes.jhtml">"Paper Planes."</a> Since then, the DJ/producer has become a go-to producer for major acts like Usher, whose latest single, R&B jam "Climax," features work from the Philadelphia native. </P><P> </P><P>On Tuesday, MTV News hit up the first stop on the campus-themed <a href="http://newsroom.mtv.com/2012/03/28/diplo-chiddy-bang-axe-one-night-only-tour">AXE One Night Only Tour</a> in Wisconsin, and we caught up with the headlining DJ to talk about his upcoming projects. </P><P> </P><P>"We got really luck on that one," he said of the track from Usher's upcoming album. "We just had great chemistry. I was super-nervous working with him the first two days. ... The way we did it, it was just a super-open format. He was down to do whatever we were excited about. </P><P> </P><P>"I love Usher," Diplo gushed. "I'm an Usher fan. I love him for records like 'Confessions Pt. II' and 'Burn,' those are some of the first R&B records from my generation that are still lasting forever. And we did some uptempo stuff too. I don't know what'll make the album, but I think there are definitely three songs that'll make it." </P><P> </P><P>Diplo is currently involved with a number of projects and luckily he was willing to dish. After working last summer with <a href="/news/articles/1670849/no-doubt-album-release.jhtml">No Doubt on their upcoming record</a>, the producer revealed he had good news to share. </P><P> </P><P>"We just finished. I was actually in Jamaica last month and I went in and did some extra stuff on that record," he told us. "I'm super-excited. It's probably going to be a single for their album. They've been [tweeting] about the song, so they're excited about it. I think it's going to be a 'No Doubt featuring Major Lazer' record, because we were producers, and there's another artist on it, too, that we recorded in Jamaica. </P><P> </P><P>"But you'll have to wait," Diplo warned, "I don't know how far off that record is, but every song I've heard is a bona-fide hit. ' </P><P> </P><P>The superstar DJ also recently took to his Facebook page and casually mentioned that he's already started production on 18 tracks for a record with <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/snoop_dogg/artist.jhtml">Snoop Dogg</a>. </P><P> </P><P>"Snoop Dogg is an icon, man; he's bigger than the music," Diplo said. "What we're doing is a reggae record. It's like Snoop Dogg and Major Lazer together. It's all reggae and he's singing and he's doing a f---ing awesome job and I never knew it, but he had his heart in every song. ... We're going to get back into the production of it next month, and I'm really proud of that record. It's the first record I've ever executive-produced and his crew is amazing. </P><P></p>
