Justin Bieber Teases 'Boyfriend' Video: Watch It Here!

Bieber is bringing 'Boyfriend' video to MTV on Thursday at 7:50 p.m., followed by a live Q&A on MTV.com!

The countdown is on to the premiere of <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/bieber_justin/artist.jhtml">Justin Bieber</a>'s <a href="/news/articles/1684156/justin-bieber-boyfriend-music-video-premiere-thursday.jhtml">"Boyfriend" video</a>. It's set to debut on Thursday (May 3) during "MTV First," when the pop star sits down with MTV News to premiere the sexy clip and give all the inside dish on making it.While there's still a day until the clip premieres, a tease of it certainly does set the scene for the Director X-directed video. The sunny party clip features shots of Bieber canoodling with a brunette (who looks a bit like his real-life girlfriend, Selena Gomez), driving fast muscle cars and chilling with his pals on a rooftop parking lot.<div class="player-placeholder right" title="MTV First: Justin Bieber" id="id:1684329" width="415" height="255"></div>The video was shot in Los Angeles last month. During 'MTV First: Justin Bieber,' pop star says 'As Long As You Love Me' could be the next track to hit radio.

<a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/bieber_justin/artist.jhtml">Justin Bieber</a> is still riding high off the release of his new video for </a> <a href="/news/articles/1684446/justin-bieber-boyfriend-video.jhtml">"Boyfriend."</a> But with his next album, <a href="/news/articles/1684292/justin-bieber-boyfriend-mike-posner-sessions.jhtml">Believe,</a> not too far off, Bieber told MTV News that fans might get the chance to hear more from the June 19 release sooner rather than later."Why did I choose 'Boyfriend' [for my first single]? I just thought it was ... a song that most represented me at the time and what I wanted to put out there, " he told Sway during "MTV First: Justin Bieber" on Thursday night (May 3). "It's crazy, because even my next single after that is going to be better."<div class="player-placeholder right" title="'Boyfriend' Shows Off Justin Bieber's 'New Fresh Sound'" id="vid:765693.id:1684329" width="415" height="255"></div>Bieber didn't want to give out too many details about this even better next track, but he did reveal that the title recalls a certain hit by '90s teen idols the Backstreet Boys. "My next single, I don't have it completely set. ... I think it's 'As Long As You Love Me.' It's midtempo," Bieber said. "I think it's edgy."With no exact details on when fans might get to hear the next single, he dished that a song he wrote for his mother, Pattie Mallette, could drop on May 13, whether or not it makes the album. "I wrote a song for my mom. But I'm going to put it out on Mother's Day," he said, explaining why Mama Mallette was worthy of her own track, "[It's] about the struggles, I say in the song. Will Black Keys Team Up With Ke$ha? First They Want Jim Nabors

The duo sat down with MTV News in Berlin to discuss a pair of unlikely collaborations.

Theirs is a relationship that has spanned time and Twitter, <a href="https://twitter.com/#!/keshasuxx/status/77286418598211584" target="_blank">seafood</a> and <a href="https://twitter.com/#!/keshasuxx/status/157523381602889728" target="_blank">shaving</a>, but over the years, the unlikely bond between the <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/black_keys/artist.jhtml">Black Keys</a> and <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/id_3213641/artist.jhtml">Ke$ha</a> has grown to become something more: a genuine friendship, marked with the occasional trespassing charge.<div class="player-placeholder right" title="Would The Black Keys Ever Collaborate With Ke$ha?" id="vid:731631.id:1678505" width="240" height="211"></div>"We're friends with her, we've known her since way before she was famous, before she was even a singer, I guess," Keys drummer Patrick Carney told MTV News. "When she was 16 years old, she used to sneak into our shows. We kind of became friends with her by kicking her out of our backstage room, over and over again. She actually has snuck into shows in L.A., San Diego, Coachella ...""She snuck in and [got] kicked out of one show, like, five times," frontman Dan Auerbach added. "[She] snuck in through the kitchen. I don't know if she's such a big fan; she just likes breaking the rules."So, when MTV News sat down with the 'Keys in Berlin during the premiere of their <a href="/news/articles/1678662/black-keys-gold-on-the-ceiling-music-video.jhtml">"Gold on the Ceiling"</a> video, we had to ask if their friendship with Ke$ha would take the next step: an actual musical collaboration. It's not all that far-fetched, considering both Ke$h and Auerbach live in Nashville ("I see her every once in a while flying by in her T-Top [convertible]," Auerbach laughed), and recently, the glittery one has logged studio time with <a href="https://twitter.com/#!/keshasuxx/status/160846424609787906" target="_blank">the Flaming Lips</a>. So, could we see a team-up on the next Black Keys album?"I guess, I don't know," Carney said. "We don't really do that many collaborations, really."OK, so if a Ke$ha collabo isn't in the cards, just who would the 'Keys like to work with next? Well, as it turns out, they've got their eyes set on landing a very big star for the next record ... even if they mistakenly believe he's deceased."We both want to work with Jim Nabors very badly, but apparently he's not with us anymore," Carney said. Oh, <a href="http://www.jimnabors.com/" target="_blank">but he is.</a> Which means that, much like Nabors, the dream is alive. The Ke$ha collabo? Usher Says 'Scream' Is 'Just In Time For Summer'

Following 'Climax,' singer tells MTV News his latest single 'represents the other side' of Looking for Myself album.

Bumping beats, sexy lyrics and <a href="/music/artist/usher/artist.jhtml">Usher</a>'s signature R&B bad-boy swagger can only mean one thing: the singer has once again hooked up with superstar pop producer Max Martin. Their latest collaboration, <a href="/news/articles/1683947/usher-scream.jhtml">"Scream,"</a> picks up where "DJ Got Us Fallin' in Love" left off back in 2010.Usher used that track to convince us to go home with him after a dizzying night of partying, and for "Scream," he's got us back at his pad and he's rocking our world, one fist-pumping moment at a time. While he opted to slow it down on <a href="http://rapfix.mtv.com/2012/02/16/usher-diplo-climax-love-affair-song">"Climax,"</a> Usher is back to large-scale dance tracks on <a href="/news/articles/1682140/usher-looking-for-myself.jhtml">Looking for Myself</a>'s second single. "And me and Max Martin, we've had success together in the past, and this was a record I felt represented the other side of the [album].""Scream" and "Climax" truly are polar-opposite tracks. Where "Climax" sears and broods, "Scream" celebrates and dances. Usher is excited for the chance to show all those sides with the two lead singles from the June 12 release."Whereas the first song was a little bit more artistic and a little bit more soulful, and it has done everything, it probably exceeded my expectations, I mean, from the moment I was able to give it away. I was able to kind of be reintroduced in a way musically, and thank you to [producer] Diplo, but 'Scream' is really like the next step. It's just in time for summer and the type of experience that I want people to get out of the album."But the Atlanta-bred singer notes that the album can't be defined just by "Climax" or "Scream." There's a lot there to keep fans tuning in. "It's a ton of other experiences and a ton of other walks ... as I've had this long journey over the last year [and] every bit of what I've experienced I've put into a creative, artistic way," he said.As for the video, well, that still has to be shot, but he joked that "Fuerza Bruta" might serve as the perfect backdrop for the clip — or maybe not. "We might be shooting it while we're here," he laughed. "This is like a movie set, damn near — sh-- you don't normally see with the launch of an album. After dropping last Monday, the song has sold 520,000 downloads in its first week. The number is particularly meaningful since it places him at #2 in all-time first-week singles sales. Flo Rida's track "Right Round," featuring a then up-and-coming Ke$ha, has the Biebs beat, according to <a href="http://www.hitsdailydouble.com/news/rumormill.cgi" target="_blank">Hits Daily Double</a>. Flo's track sits at #1 with 636,000 units moved. "The concept of this video, I mean it's not like a steady concept," he explained to MTV News on the Cali-based set in between shots. "It's not like 'Justin follows this girl to this spot.' No, it's a bunch of amazing scenes: Like a fire scene, we have an ice scene. "It's kind of like bouncing back and forth," he said. "And then there's scenes of me and just a bunch of girl dancers, and just some great shots, great artistic shots, great shots of me smiling. It's fun."

Ke$ha Celebrates National Coming Out Day

<a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/kesha_/artist.jhtml">Kesha</a> has joined forces with the Human Rights Campaign to help celebrate National Coming Out Day on Tuesday (October 11). The pop singer created a special message T-shirt, featuring a purple zebra, that <a href="/news/articles/1653432/kehas-we-r-who-we-r-video-is-hot-and-dangerous.jhtml">proclaims "We R Who We R,"</a> the title of her hit anthem about individuality. The shirts sell for $35, with all proceeds supporting the HRC's work to achieve equality for the LGBT community. According to the <a href="http://www.hrc.org/press-releases/entry/human-rights-campaign-unveils-t-shirt-collaboration-with-kesha" target="_blank">HRC website</a>, only 1,000 shirts will be produced. Others are also using the day to bring awareness to LGBT issues. Several notable celebrities will be honored by the Equality Forum, which is hosting an event and profiling notable LGBT members in pop culture. As <a href="http://miamiherald.typepad.com/gaysouthflorida/2011/10/lgbt-history-month-honors-ricky-martin-wanda-sykes-ryan-murphy-pedro-zamora-27-other-icons.html#ixzz1aTgr8yl4" target="_blank">LGBT History Month</a> rolls on throughout October, Ricky Martin, Wanda Sykes, "Glee" creator Ryan Murphy and Pedro Zamora, a former "The Real World" castmember turned AIDS activist, all will be profiled by the organization. "We're the only minority worldwide that's not taught history at home, in school or religious institutions," said Malcolm Lazin, Equality Forum's founder and executive director. "Like every group that's been marginalized, it really helps to make the case why we should take real pride in ourselves and our community." Since launching the program five years ago, over 200 icons have been profiled, including Jane Lynch, Lady Gaga and Neil Patrick Harris. Lazin called LGBT month "empowering and life affirming." The message comes amid increased awareness about young people being bullied, including MTV's <a href="http://www.athinline.org">A Thin Line</a> campaign. The MTV film <a href="http://www.mtv.com/shows/disconnected/series.jhtml">"DISconnected,"</a> which premiered Monday night, focuses on issues in a world where technology controls personal lives. "I see the viciousness of people every day," said <a href="/news/articles/1672289/jersey-shore-vinny-disconnected-fight-negativity.jhtml">id="1672289">"Jersey Shore" star Vinny Guadagnino</a> on the "DISconnected" after show. "I kind of want to be a soldier in the field, so to speak, and try to combat the negativity with a positive message. I want to help open people's eyes up, like this movie does, to the negativity." And these days she says the thing that makes her feel most beautiful is her baby girl, Blue Ivy. "I feel more beautiful than I've ever felt because I've given birth," Beyoncé told the magazine. "I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this earth." Beyoncé continues to gush about her baby girl, saying, "She's just the cutest thing," adding that she makes up songs to sing just to Blue Ivy. When asked which of her parents the baby resembles more, B responded, "She looks like Blue. She's her own person." While Beyoncé is focused on her "love" of changing diapers these days, she is prepping to get back to work. But she seems to feel her greatest achievement is baby Blue. "The best thing about having a daughter is having a true legacy," she explained. "The word 'love' means something completely different now." He really loves <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/adele/artist.jhtml">Adele</a>, even if she's threatening his position as an album-sales record holder. "If I have to confess, I have to confess that I have told a few people not to go and buy Adele's album because I don't want her to go and break my record," he joked to <a href="http://www.pressparty.com/pg/newsdesk/usher/view/43207/" target="_blank">Capital FM</a> in the U.K. The 21 singer's record-setting album has come close to beating the record held by his own album Confessions for <a href="/news/articles/1676522/adele-usher-best-sales-record.jhtml">most albums sold in one year</a>. "No, actually, I love her. Unfortunately, she's the closest to breaking my record for the last 10 years. So now, guys, don't go and buy that album right now." But if he can't beat her, he'll join her. He hinted in the same interview that he would love the chance to collaborate with the broken-hearted songstress. "I think the world deserves an <a href="http://www.pressparty.com/pg/newsdesk/usher/view/43230/" target="_blank">Usher and Adele record</a>," he said. "That's what I think." Well, Usher will get his chance to prove his chart dominance once again when he drops his new album later this year. He's currently out promoting its lead single, the sexy, sultry, Diplo-produced <a href="http://rapfix.mtv.com/2012/02/16/usher-diplo-climax-love-affair-song/">"Climax."</a> The singer released a video for the track earlier this month. The sexy clip follows two lovers engaged in a hot, steamy love affair. Usher wrestles with the ramifications of their relationship, pondering it all in his car, with a gun not far away. Leading to the video's climax, Usher watches his lady with her other man, then runs in the house, fires off his gun and runs away. Viewers are left wondering if it was nothing more than a daydream as the video ends with the singer once again sitting in his car, still reflecting, as he pulls away from the supposed crime scene.

David Guetta Teases 'Crazy' New Usher Collaboration

Well, it looks like David Guetta and <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/usher/artist.jhtml">Usher</a> will have a new one for you to play over and over again soon. The French hitmaker teased to <a href="http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/earshot/david-guetta-usher-collaborating-new-song-coachella-315394"_blank">The Hollywood Reporter</a> that he's worked with the R&B star on new music. "These are really big records that we're working on right now," he said of the twosome's latest work. According to Guetta, "really, really, really crazy." While it's unknown when the music will appear, the two recently hit the stage together at Coachella. "Then I saw him on the side of the stage and I gave him the sign. He was like, 'Do you want me to do it with you? To come on stage?' and I was like, 'Hell yeah! Of course!' "I think the world wanted a record like that.
